'Please Resist Me' is a poem in which Luka Lesson decries - 'What doesn't kill me can only make me stronger' in a way that is unequivocal, full of lyrical prowess and thick with personal experience. It is a message of defiance sent to those who choose racism and hatred over connection and respect. In reality, this poem is saying that those of us who use the hate of others as fuel - can never be beaten.
